“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Putting Jesus F1RST

His Kingdom. Our first priority.

As a church, we believe God is calling us to put His Kingdom first: in our lives, in our church, and in the way we step into the future He has for us.

F1RST is an opportunity for every person who calls CenterPoint home to ask one simple question: God, what would it look like for me to put Your Kingdom first?

A message from Pastor Brian

As we look toward the future, we want to make sure that our first response isn’t simply to make bigger plans.

We want to seek God first.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.”

That is the heart behind F1RST.

Over the next two years, we’re asking everyone who calls CenterPoint home to pray, seek God, and consider how He may be inviting us to take a step of faith and generosity.

Together, we have the opportunity to create room for more people, strengthen ministry across every CenterPoint campus, invest beyond our walls, and prepare for what God wants to do in the years ahead.

But before any number, building, or goal, our prayer is that we would become people who truly seek His Kingdom first.

Let’s seek F1RST together.

Our primary goal
100%

Engagement.

At CenterPoint, we’re inviting each person to seek God F1RST- in prayer, faith, and generosity.

We’re not just raising funds; we’re raising faith.

Our primary goal is for every person who calls CenterPoint home to participate in this journey.

For some, that may mean beginning to give for the first time. For others, it may mean growing in generosity or taking a step of faith beyond anything they have done before.

Our secondary goal
$17.75M

Over two years.

Our financial goal for F1RST is $17.75 million over two years.

F1RST is a One Fund initiative. That means all of your giving to CenterPoint over the next two years is included in your commitment, not just what you give above and beyond.

Capital Projects

Creating room for what’s next.

Preparing for the future needs of our growing campuses.

How we’re preparing for what’s next. We’re setting aside resources to prepare for the future needs of our growing campuses, especially Massapequa and Bay Shore.

Massapequa
A new home base that could seat 1,000–1,400 people, provide parking, and become the hub for all-church gatherings and ministry training.

Bay Shore
Currently running four services each Sunday and is at capacity – funds will go toward a larger facility.

Future Opportunities
Readiness for God-given moments, such as a permanent facility for Long Beach, or expansions for Holbrook and Kings Park.

Outward Impact
$750K

Beyond our walls.

Supporting compassion & kingdom expansion on Long Island and across the globe.

Compassion & Kingdom Expansion
Each year we allocate funds toward our Mission offering to support local and global initiatives. This integral funding supports church planting, compassion initiatives, and global partnerships so that all people have multiple opportunities to hear and respond to Jesus.

General Ministry
$11.5M

Ministry, every day.

This represents two years of ongoing ministry across CenterPoint.

Advancing the Mission
CenterPoint currently operates with an annual ministry budget of about $5 million, supporting the life and ministry of our church. As we pursue this vision, we plan strategic increases each year to expand our impact now, reaching more people across Long Island.

Long Island and beyond

One church.
One mission.
One Vision.

God has already written an incredible story through CenterPoint. From one location to campuses throughout Long Island, our mission has remained the same:

Helping people find life in Jesus.

And we believe there are still thousands of people who have yet to walk through our doors.

There are families searching for hope.

People searching for community.

Kids and students who need a foundation of faith.

People who have given up on church.

And people who have never experienced the life-changing hope of Jesus.

F1RST is about preparing for them.

We believe God has given CenterPoint an opportunity to continue reaching Long Island for generations to come.

And together, we can prepare for what’s next.

Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33 are more than the theme of a campaign.

They are an invitation.

An invitation to trust God.

To put His Kingdom ahead of our own.

To live generously.

To step forward in faith.

And to believe that when God’s people seek Him first, He can do more through us than we could ever accomplish on our own.

Let’s seek His Kingdom F1RST.
